How does perfume matching work in Scenza?
You start with a short quiz and rate scents you already know. Scenza uses this to build your scent DNA, compares it with a catalogue of about 6,500 perfumes and shows a match score for each bottle.
How much does Scenza cost?
Access to the closed beta is free. After launch, some features will be available through a Premium plan for PLN 6.99 per month. Decants and perfume subscriptions are separate, optional purchases in the Scenza shop.
Where does Scenza get perfume prices?
From Polish perfume retailers. You can compare current offers across bottle sizes, check price history and set an alert for your chosen amount. For full bottles, we take you to the partner store. Decants and subscriptions are available from the Scenza shop.
What is scent DNA?
It is your scent profile: a map of fragrance notes with their strength, built from the quiz and your perfume ratings. The more fragrances you rate, the more accurate your recommendations become. You can also fine-tune your DNA manually in the app at any time.
Does Scenza work if I'm just starting out with perfume?
Especially then. Scenza was created to make the start easier for people with no experience. The quiz does not require knowing fragrance notes; it asks about emotions and preferences.
Which phones does Scenza work on, and how do I join the beta?
Scenza runs on iOS and Android. We are in closed beta: iOS testing runs through TestFlight, Android through closed testing on Google Play. Write to info@scenza.pl and we will send you an invite.
What are perfume decants?
A decant is a small sample of perfume transferred from the original bottle into a smaller atomizer. It is an inexpensive way to test a fragrance on your own skin before committing to a full bottle. Selected decants are available in the Scenza shop.
How do the Discovery, Prestige and Variety subscriptions work?
They are three options for regular deliveries of carefully selected perfumes. Discovery focuses on new releases, Prestige on higher-end scents, and Variety on variety and surprises. All three options are coming soon to the Scenza shop.
